Golf

The Plantation Course at Edisto is truly a tropical paradise.  Thirteen of the holes have water and all of the fairways are lined with trees.  You will be challenged in some way on all 18 holes whether you are avoiding the water or one of the many massive live oaks covered in Spanish moss.

Three sets of tees will challenge any golfer as you wind through the salt marshes and coastal lagoons.  Narrow fairways framed by palm trees and live oaks encourage precise placement of tee shots for all golfers looking to score.  But don't focus too much on the fairways because you will miss much of this course's inherent beauty.

In addition the golf you will enjoy spectacular wildlife as you play amongst the great Blue Herons, White Snowy Egrets, Pelicans, Osprey or maybe even the occasional alligator. Deer ofter run across the fairways as they, like you enjoy this spectacular setting.

The course was designed by Tom Jackson and was named one of the top 25 courses in South Carolina by Golf Illustrated Magazine.
